Subject: Pawnshop is a "Hell of a Deal" in Slapstick Comedy :
Chaplin's 1916 film "The Pawnshop" makes plight of the common Pawnshop dealer and the profession with utter hijinks and hilarity which is typical Chaplin comedy ! His comedic genius shines in terms of impeccable timing and "improv". Chaplin plays a man who is hired in a pawnshop but has a resentful staff presence because of his incompetence. Laughs galore for all ages alike and one of his best !

Charlie and John Rand slapstick fights are really classic. Only the two could create such a believable and crazily great action. Don't miss it.
